PCXOPERATIONS / RECIPIENT SUPPORT

Give the customer a responsible next contact

Recipient support works best when a question reaches the team able to answer it. A store purchase problem and a card-use problem should not be treated as the same case.

01

Prepare a question-to-owner map

The actual contact destinations come from the merchant offer and card materials. Assign them before customers need help.

Customer questionResponsibility to identify
Did my Shopify purchase qualify?Merchant or assigned program eligibility support
Does my return affect the offer?Merchant order support and the relevant program owner
Where are the access instructions?Assigned recipient-delivery or access support
Why could I not use the card? The responsible card-support service
Who follows up on an unresolved answer?A named escalation owner for that question
02

Keep the first inquiry proportionate

A concise description of the issue and the relevant offer can establish where help is needed. Recipients should not send full card numbers, security codes, passwords, or sensitive identity information to a general email inbox. Any necessary verification belongs in the responsible service’s appropriate process.

03

Close the question, not just the message

A forwarded email is not a resolved issue. Confirm who is handling the question and whether the customer needs to take another step. Repeated questions can also identify unclear offer language or instructions that need improvement.

Frequently asked questions

Can this public website check my card balance?

No. It is not a cardholder portal. Use the balance or card-support instructions provided with the actual card.

Should I email my card number for help?

No. Do not send full card details or security codes to the public contact address. Follow the responsible service’s support instructions.
