PCXPROGRAM DESIGN / CUSTOMER TERMS

Explain the offer where the purchase decision happens

Promotion terms tell the shopper what qualifies and what benefit is connected to that purchase. Card terms tell the recipient about the actual card. The customer needs both, at the relevant stage.

01

Prepare the offer summary

Use this outline to gather the information for a Shopify campaign. It is a preparation tool, not a substitute for applicable program or legal review.

  • Eligible customer and purchase.
  • Campaign period and important exclusions.
  • Description of the benefit without implying an immediate price reduction.
  • Expected next steps and timing.
  • Effect of relevant order changes.
  • Support destination and access to complete terms.
02

Keep the headline and detail aligned

A short product-page message can lead to more detailed conditions, but it should not contradict them. Avoid describing a card as ready to use when another program step applies, or as usable everywhere when the actual product has restrictions.

03

Maintain separate responsibilities

The store explains its Shopify offer. The responsible card materials explain permitted use, applicable expiration information, restrictions, and card support. A generic website disclosure does not replace those product-specific documents.
